Meet the Artist
Born and bred in the Westcountry I have always been intrigued by the furry and feathered inhabitants that I spotted flitting, striding, or creeping through the surrounding landscape.
Through my hand drawn illustrations I have sought to show both the vulnerability and the sheer beauty of the indigenous creatures that we share our countryside with. From the greatest stag bellowing in the glade through to the tiniest Jenny Wren singing her heart out in the boughs of an obliging tree, they are all part of the rich and varied tapestry of life.
The deliberate choice of monochrome for my drawings is intended to draw out the very individual characteristics of these subjects and enhance their nuanced details. The prints are striking either individually or as a collection upon the wall and work well across a broad range of interiors, in both older character houses and newer more minimalist homes.
My A5 prints are available either unframed or framed in a black wooden frame. Presentation boxes are also available and make these pictures the perfect gift for any nature lover.
Environmental credentials
I strongly believe that we have a responsibility to do our part for our fragile planet by making informed choices, living lightly and sustaining the environment for the beautifully complex array of creatures that share it with us. I have sought to be environmentally friendly in my approach and single use plastic free.
